History:
The plant was first built in 1960 using the conventional treatment process including sedimentation. The second stage, commissioned in 1993 uses the direct filtration process in 10 coarse deep bed dual media filters.
James Cumming & Sons supplied C&S Brand Australian Filter Coal as part of the second stage upgrade to direct filtration. All product was delivered on time and wholly to specification.
